I started building websites back in 2007. My first website was my own photography website. It was crude but it got the job done. Actually I didn’t even build it! I instructed the webmaster I found online on how I wanted the site built and they set it up and made tweaks as I requested them. They were located in another state and unfortunately those tweaks sometimes took days to complete. It was at that time I knew I needed to be in control of my own website. So, I began searching for ways to build my own site. I was working a regular 9-5 and didn’t have time to dedicate to learning all the ins and outs of websites. I’m sure my next website was built using a simple online WYSIWYG sitebuilder but it didn’t matter because I was in full control!
I quickly out grew that site and at the suggestion of my current web host I began working with WordPress. The first day was very frustrating because I had no guidance but once I figured out how to get the results I wanted I was on a roll! My photography business connected me with all sorts of people and businesses. I noticed that most of the startup entrepreneurs I worked with didn’t have websites. That was another service I could provide. I branched out and began building site for others and reading everything WordPress related I could get my hands on. Soon WordPress and my own growing photography business were all I was thinking about. My unrelated 9-5 was getting in the way of taking photography jobs and finding website clients so on June 2014 I quit my day job. Yes, very scary! Fortunately I had a plan.
My plan involved offering not only an awesome website but also affordable hosting. To sweeten the deal my strong photography background allowed me to provide clients with the product photography they needed of their merchandise. True One-Stop Shopping! It was amazing to give clients everything they needed to get their dreams off the ground. I remember what it was like starting new and I have that same rush of excitement with every new client. I also remember how helpless I felt years ago when I had to wait for my webmaster to fulfill my requests. I never want my clients to feel that anxiety. Those memories have shaped how JayBee Tech caters to their clients. I take great pride in providing affordable websites to entrepreneurs and small business owners. It’s my mission to empower you and make your dream come true.
That’s how JayBee Tech was born and those are the principles I live by every day.
